Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using InHerHive, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Mae Raaki LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

Description of Service

InHerHive is an AI-powered professional development and journaling platform designed for Black women professionals. Our services include personal journaling with AI-powered insights, voice memo recording and transcription, curated resources, reflection activities, and community features. The platform is accessible via web browser at www.inherhive.com.

User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 18 years old to use our platform
• One person may not maintain more than one account
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Subscription and Payment

InHerHive offers both free trial and paid subscription options:

• Free Trial: 7 days with limited features (14 journal entries, 45 minutes of voice recording)
• Full Access: $14.99/month with expanded limits and full features

Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the platform without permission
• Share content that is harmful, threatening, defamatory, or discriminatory
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform or servers
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the platform
• Use the platform to send spam or unsolicited communications

Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create on InHerHive, including journal entries, voice recordings, and reflections. By using our platform, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely to provide our services, including AI-powered insights and voice transcription. We will not share your personal journal entries with other users or third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law.

AI-Powered Features

Our platform uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude) to provide personalized insights and recommendations based on your journal entries. While we strive to provide helpful and thoughtful responses, AI-generated content:

• Should not be considered professional advice (career, legal, medical, financial, or therapeutic)
• May occasionally contain inaccuracies or inappropriate responses
• Is provided for reflection and personal growth purposes only

Always use your own judgment and consult qualified professionals for important decisions. If you experience a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed mental health professional or emergency services.

Intellectual Property

The InHerHive platform, including its design, features, branding, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by Mae Raaki LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The InHerHive name, logo, and "Find Your Hive" tagline are trademarks of Mae Raaki LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to other users or the platform. You may delete your account at any time through your Profile > Privacy & Data settings. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease, and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

INHERHIVE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on content or insights provided through our platform.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAE RAAKI LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of InHerHive shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mae Raaki LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of InHerHive shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of InHerHive after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must stop using the platform.
